June, 2018 - One of our RNA-Bio research group member, Dr. Ng Siew Kit, had just received the prestigious Young Scientist Programme Fellowship (worth more than USD1100) to attend the IUBMB Seoul 2018 congress. Siew Kit presented his research on IRF9 and showcased his wider research interest through poster presentation. There were more than 800 participants, including over 100 speakers attended the event. At the conclusion of the event, Siew Kit was conferred the Best Presenter Award for his exciting and passionate presentation over both oral and poster sessions. The 24th IUBMB Congress & 15th FAOBMB Congress (IUBMB Seoul 2018) was held from 4-8th June, 2018 in COEX, Seoul, South Korea. This is a flagship event of IUBMB that is held every three years, where excellent biochemist and molecular biologist from around the world congregate to showcase their research.
