Research visit to National Taiwan University and Tzu Chi University

December 21 to 27, 2016 - Our members, Prof. Tang, Dr. Citartan, Dr. Ch'ng, Pn. Siti Aminah and Mr. Prabu has begun an invitation visit to National Taiwan University and Tzu Chi University for research exchange and collaboration.

They gave talks to a research group led by Prof. Huang Min-Chuan at Graduate Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University. After that, they continued their journey to Tzu Chi University in Hualien to present and discuss on the research collaboration with Prof. Woon Peng Yeong and his group.

They returned to Malaysia after the Taiwan trip while Mr. Prabu will stay at Tzu Chi University as an attached student for the next 6 months.

Invited speaker from AIMST University - Dr. Choy Ker Woon

January 7, 2019 – We kicked start the year with an insightful talk given by Dr Choy Ker Woon from AIMST University. Dr Woon’s lecture is titled “Pharmacological effects of paeonol against endoplasmic reticulum stress and inflammation-induced endothelial dysfunction”. Dr Woon recently completed her PhD at the University of Malaya and is currently a senior lecturer at AIMST University.
