The Third AMDI Postgraduate Colloquium

July 25-26, 2017 - RNA-Bio Research Group members have attended and delivered their presentations at the 3rd AMDI Postgraduate Colloqium. Our group leaders, Dr. Citartan Marimuthu and Dr. Ng Siew Kit, presented as invited speaker to showcase their research on aptamer and hydrogen water, respectively. Students who participated the presentation include Rogini Sivalingam, Prabu Siva Sankar, Presela Ravinderan, Chew Yik Wei, Tey Lee Hung, Alvin Paul and Tan Lee-Lee. Congratulations to Alvin Paul (IRF9 Phosphorylation in Type 1 Interferon Response) and Tey Lee Hung (Functional Evaluation of Flag-STAT1 in U3A Cells) for winning the Best Presenter and Second Best Presenter, respectively.

Invited speaker from AIMST University - Dr. Choy Ker Woon

January 7, 2019 – We kicked start the year with an insightful talk given by Dr Choy Ker Woon from AIMST University. Dr Woon’s lecture is titled “Pharmacological effects of paeonol against endoplasmic reticulum stress and inflammation-induced endothelial dysfunction”. Dr Woon recently completed her PhD at the University of Malaya and is currently a senior lecturer at AIMST University.
